CCL Products, the world's largest private label coffee manufacturer, turns into a billion dollar company now.

CCL Products India Ltd, formerly known as Continental Coffee Ltd, would be setting up its new manufacturing plant at Continental Coffee Park in Kuvvakolli village in Tirupati district in Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 400 crore. CCL today has four manufacturing plants, two in India and one each in Vietnam and Switzerland.

Last week, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy laid the foundation for the new plant which will generate more than 100 direct jobs.

CCL Products is to invest Rs 400 crore in a new manufacturing plant, to be built on 22 acres in Tirupati district in Andhra Pradesh, with an annual capacity of 16,000 metric tonnes a year of spray-dried instant coffee. The company's new production facility will commence operations in Q4 of the current financial year. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister laid the foundation for the plant, which will create more than 100 jobs, last week.
